Internet Explorer - Scanner Settings

To start, please look at Manage Add-ons in IE:

Add "cairnsoftware.com" as an allowed site:

Next in IE, please look at Internet Options/Security Tab/Custom Level for Internet.  You should have the following settings:

• Allow ActiveX Filtering : Enable
• Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt : Disable
• Allow Scriptlets : Disable
• Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls : Disable
• Binary and script behaviors : Enabled
• Display video and animation on a webpage that does not use external media player : Disabled
• Download signed ActiveX controls : Prompt
• Download unsigned ActiveX controls : Disable
• Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting : Disable
• Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt : Enable
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins : Enable
• Run antimalware software on ActiveX controls : Enable
• Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting * : Enable
